July 18th – 22nd MOF once again partnered with Childhood Evangelism Fellowship to bring a backyard Bible club to residents at one of MOF’s apartment complexes. This time the location was the River Trace Apartments in Memphis, TN.

Fifteen children attended the VBS, and adult leaders mentored teen leaders in how to minister to children. The Bible club was held each morning. The kids heard the gospel every day and were loved well, receiving much attention.

The River Trace Apartments are home to a large population of refugees. We love being able to minister to people from a variety of countries and religious backgrounds without ever having to leave the property, and that’s exactly what we were able to do during this VBS. Refugee children from Sudan and one Kurdish child attended alongside American children. They all spoke English and were able to understand the gospel we presented.
