Young residents at the Willowbend Apartments in Lafayette, Louisiana enjoyed some end of the summer fun and grilled hot dogs with all the fixings! The Back to School Bash was hosted by Monroe Jennings (MOF’s resident missionary) and Sale Street Baptist Church of Lake Charles, Louisiana.
Under the leadership of Pastor Randy Edwards, Sale Street Baptist Church reaches out to the community to gather together all ages of people to serve, love, and share the love of Jesus and demonstrate Philippians 2:3-4, which says: “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.”
