The Costa Rica Festival is a powerful campaign to engage the city of Turrialba, Costa Rica in the redemptive work of Jesus and proclaim the Good News to many. A concerted effort is underway to unite the Body of Christ, mobilize the Church, and share the love of Jesus Christ. The Festival in Turrialba, Costa Rica takes place March 14 and 15 proceeded by the School of Evangelism on March 10-13. JA Pérez, along with the Pastors Fellowship of Turrialba, have been preparing for the Festival for several months. In addition to the support of the Pastors Fellowship of Turrialba, the JA Pérez Association has linked forces with other mission organizations such as Global Ministries Fellowship, Reid Saunders Association, and the Luis Palau Association as well as national organizations.
The Festival includes FREE, family-friendly events to engage every level of the community from civic leaders to church congregations, to demonstrate the love of Jesus and proclaim His Good News on a massive scale. Attendees will experience wonderful music, memorable fun, and some very Good News.
The Festival will include extreme sports exhibitions in association with Urban Skate by the Evangelist and Businessman, Ricardo Argudo. Tents will be set up in the stadium during the day to provide assistance and programs to help families in need. These will include doctors, dentists, social workers, and workshops for families, couples, single parents, etc. Workshops will also be held for youth with music and topics of relevance.
A Children’s Festival will take place every day at 1:00 p.m. followed by the Cultural Exchange at 4:00 p.m. In the Cultural Exchange, national and international talents will share drama, cultural presentations, arts, music, and more. The primary event will be held every night at 7:00 p.m. with Evangelists Reid Saunders, Richard L. Hamlet, and JA Pérez proclaiming the Gospel message. A concert will follow the message each night.
The Festival project has been equipping leaders and this training will culminate with the School of Creative Evangelism that will take place over four days before the Festival. The goal is to mobilize 600 evangelists to do follow-up work after the Festival .
