Hunting for Easter eggs

(April 4, 2013, Indianapolis, Indiana)

Steve Boldin, Resident Chaplain, reports around 200 people attended the Easter festivities for children living at the Berkley Commons Apartments. Everyone attending heard the gospel. Each leader was given an evangelistic egg. Each evangelistic egg contains an item that tells the story of Jesus, beginning with His triumphant entry to Jerusalem on Palm Sunday through His Resurrection. To make this more fun, participants were given a sheet of paper with the different eggs on it. Then they went from leader to leader to hear the story of each egg. Leaders would sign off on their sheet after the story was told. When the participants finished the entire sheet, they receievd a bag of M&M’s as a prize. During the festivities each family had their picture taken together and picked them up later at our Bible Study.
