Last weekend MOF held its First Annual Raleigh Community Festival. The Memphis festival took place at River Trace Apartments. Residents from the complex as well as the surrounding community came out to enjoy the day.
People enjoyed entertainment by a number of musicians and free hamburgers and hot dogs for dinner. BMX bikers amazed kids and adults alike. Children also participated in games and explored a fire engine. A number of vendors were there as well, offering goods and services to residents.
After all of the festivities, the main event began–Reverend Richard Hamlet sharing the gospel with the entire crowd. Many indicated they were placing their faith in Christ that evening!
The next morning Reverend Hamlet preached at the on-site church MOF recently planted, River Trace Community Church. Many residents who were at the festival came to the service.
We are grateful for the way the Spirit moved in Memphis and are excited to see the local church disciple those who came to faith over the weekend!
