Ministry Outreach Foundation frequently comes alongside Child Evangelism Fellowship to partner in ministry. Recently, MOF and CEF worked together in West Memphis, Arkansas, to hold a CEF Good News Club for kids after school.
MOF’s director of housing services, Michelle Bird, oversaw the club after she became a CEF-certified teacher by completing a 10-week course.
The West Arkansas club met for several weeks, averaging 40-50 students per meeting. Each gathering included a Bible lesson, a Bible-based song, and a bible verse for the students to learn.
Each meeting also contained a review period to help children remember what they had learned previously. The students enjoyed games like Wheel of Bible Knowledge.
Of course, each CEF Good News Club concludes with an invitation for the children to receive Christ. MOF has CEF clubs at many of our properties all over the country. We are thankful we have the opportunity to share the gospel with our younger residents!
